How we met

     On my birthday in 2024 we met each other online and talked for 16 days. Then he decided to drive 5 hours to take me on a date when he got to Mt Pleasant he missed my house (I watched him drive past), I called him and told him to turn around and that’s when I first saw him in person and he got to meet Cassie and Cenna. The first thing he said when I got into his car was asking me where he could get his hair cut because he wanted to look nice for our first date. After he got his hair cut he took me to lunch at Casa Salza and we went to do some shopping,  He then me to go see gladiator 2 where I fell asleep on his shoulder in the movie theater. After he took me home he came into my house to say thank you to my parents for letting him take me on a date.

The Proposal

Planning a surprise proposal for somebody who doesn’t like surprises poses a set of unique challenges. I knew she needed to have her family around (dog included), and it had to be at the cabin.

Courtney and I took a walk down the beach where I used my prepared bullet points to nail the proposal. Just as I got down on one knee, my brother’s drone caught the footage from above. She said yes (nailed it!), and we celebrated with our family over a feast of crab, champagne, and homemade pie.
